Change to Degree Requirements Beginning Fall 2023

Students admitted prior to the Fall 2023 term are required to complete AIPI 530 - Optimization or AIPI 531 - Deep Learning Reinforcement Applications and two Technical Electives to fulfill their degree requirements.

Students admitted from Fall 2023 onward are no longer required to complete AIPI 530 or AIPI 531. Instead, they must complete one AIPI Departmental Elective and two Technical Electives. 

Students admitted prior to the Fall 2023 term may request to take an AIPI Departmental Elective instead of AIPI 530 or AIPI 531 at the program director’s discretion.
